April Seminar on Sustainability

The ASTM International committee on copper and copper alloys (B05) is sponsoring the Seminar on the Update on Activities and Directions of the E60 Sustainability Committee, April 11, 2018, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, California, USA. The seminar will take place in conjunction with the April standards development meetings of the committee.

Carrie Claytor, director of health, environment and sustainable development with the Copper Development Association (CDA) will be presenting on the organization of the ASTM International committee on sustainability (E60), and summaries of the active work items. There will also be a discussion regarding the overlap of the committee on sustainability with interested members of the committee on copper (B05).

In addition, the long-term strategy of the committee on sustainability (E60) will be presented to provide insight into the type of work this committee is likely to focus on as it matures.
