The Kosovo Standardization Agency, an ASTM International memorandum of understanding partner since 2013, sent a delegate to ASTM for orientation and training, Dec. 2-4, 2014. Astrit Hasani is the head of the quality infrastructure division of the Ministry of Trade and Industry in the Republic of Kosovo. Training was conducted by ASTM staff in both West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C., where a visit to the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, Maryland, also took place.
