MOU Program - Oman and Serbia
ASTM International recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Directorate General for Standards and Metrology of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the Sultanate of Oman. Saoud Nasser Mansoor Al Khusaibi, director general, DGSM, and James Thomas, president, ASTM International, signed the MOU.
ASTM has also signed an MOU with the Institute for Standardization of Serbia. Ivan Krstic, director, ISS, signed the MOU along with Thomas.
The MOUs with Oman and Serbia mark the 68th and 69th MOUs that ASTM has signed with national standards bodies throughout the world. The ASTM MOU program, initiated in 2001, promotes communication between ASTM International and national standards bodies worldwide, fostering awareness of the standardization systems of all parties involved.
