On March 13-14, James Thomas, president, ASTM, and James Olshefsky, director, external relations, ASTM, working with the support of representatives in Mexico, Luis Ordóñez and Vanessa Corona, completed two days of meetings and presentations with Alliance FiiDEM, the Alliance for Training and Research Infrastructure for the Development of Mexico, and others. In November 2011, ASTM signed a letter of cooperation with the Alliance FiiDEM in an initiative to share knowledge about ASTM in Latin America.
