ASTM Cement Standards Expert Provides Training in Phillippines
At the request of the Cement Manufacturers' Association of the Philippines (CeMAP), ASTM International sent an expert on ASTM cement and concrete standards to speak at a two-day seminar, June 30-July 1, in Manila.
CeMAP sponsored Alan Gee, an ASTM member and a recognized expert in the global cement and concrete industry. Gee highlighted the applicability of ASTM test methods and specifications during the seminar. Contact with CeMAP was facilitated through ASTM's memorandum of understanding partner in the Philippines, the Bureau of Product Standards, Department of Trade and Industry.
