ASTM China Representative Attends Standards and Innovation Roundtable

On March 28, staff from ASTM International's China office joined the ZPark Standardization Center (Zhongguancun Software Park, Beijing, China) to attend the ZPark Standards and Innovation Roundtable in Beijing. There were approximately 40 participants from the Beijing quality and technical supervision sector and 25 ZPark-based enterprises in the fields of new materials, energy efficiency, environmental protection, equipment and electronic information.
Liu Fei, ASTM's chief representative in China, gave a presentation on the ASTM standards development system, intellectual property rights policy, the ASTM China office's work and the benefits that enterprises derive from being involved in international standards development.
