ASTM External Relations Director Speaks to Indonesian Delegation in Washington, D.C.

James Olshefsky, director, external relations, ASTM International, was invited by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials to meet with a delegation from Badan Standardisasi Nasional, the national standards body of Indonesia. The meeting occurred on October 1 in Washington D.C. Indonesian standards officials wanted to meet with a representative of ASTM to discuss adoption of ASTM standards that are referenced in a new Indonesian plumbing code. The code is based on IAPMO's Uniform Plumbing Code, which references about 170 ASTM standards. Shown from left to right: I.
