ASTM International Welcomes Standards Experts from Bhutan, Ecuador, and Israel

 

ASTM International is welcoming three experts from national standards bodies for training this spring.

 

Karma Tshetrim is the secretary member for the civil engineering technical committee for the Bhutan Standards Bureau. He also works at regional posts in the same area.  His primary interest is in the construction sector. Karma will arrive at ASTM on May 31 and will attend June committee week.

 

Juan Escobar is the technical secretary for the concrete committee of Servicio de Ecuatoriano de Normalizacion, INEN. He is very interested in concrete, cement and CCRL.  Arriving at ASTM on May 31, Juan will attend June Committee Week.

 

Hadar Keysar is a Project Manager in the standardization division of the Standardization Institution of Israel. Her primary area of focus is medical and surgical materials and devices.  Hadar arrived on April 26 and will attend May committee week.
