ASTM Signs Memorandums of Understanding with Three National Standard Bodies
ASTM has signed four new memorandums of understanding with national standards bodies, bringing the total number of such ASTM partnerships to 91. The latest MOUs were enacted with the following national standards bodies:
- St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards, St. Kitts and Nevis. Signed by James A. Thomas, ASTM International president, and Hiram Williams, acting director, SKNBS, on July 25.
- Burundi Bureau of Standards (BBN), Burundi. Signed by Thomas and Damien Nakobedetse, director, BBN, on Sept. 10.
- Namibian Standards Institution, Namibia. Signed by Thomas and Riundja Ali Kaakunga (Othy), CEO, NSI, on Sept. 11.
- Thai Industrial Standards Institute, Thailand. Signed by Thomas and Urit Srinongkote, secretary general, TISI, on Sept. 15.
