ASTM International staff facilitated a two-day training program on ASTM's standards development process on Aug. 16-17 in Hanoi, Vietnam. The program was given at the invitation of Vietnam's Directorate for Standards and Quality (STAMEQ), an ASTM memorandum of understanding partner. During the event, ASTM staff from both the headquarters office in the United States and the China office in Beijing trained STAMEQ staff and others from Vietnamese ministries and industries on standards development skills.
