On Oct. 29, Teresa Cendrowska, ASTM vice president, global cooperation, met with reprsentatives of the China Special Equipment Institute at ASTM's Washington, D.C., office. The discussion included a review of ASTM's organization and procedure; ASTM operations in China; the relationship between ASTM and the American National Standards Institute; how data is derived for test methods; and the work of ASTM Committee F24 on Amusement Rides and Devices.
