Liu Fei, ASTM International's chief representative in China, spoke to approximately 150 participants from standards organizations, research institutes and local industries at the International Workshop for Standardization of Energy Saving and Emission Reduction in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China, on Nov. 1-2, 2010.

During his presentation, Liu Fei spoke on standards activities related to energy savings and global climate change that are currently being undertaken by ASTM International Committees C16 on Thermal Insulation, C24 on Building Seals and Sealants, E06 on Performance of Buildings and E50 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and Corrective Action.The workshop was one of the breakout events held during the annual conference of the China Association for Science and Technology, which was organized by the China Association for Standardization.
