Members of ASTM International Committee D05 on Coal and Coke met with the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC) Technical Committee 42 on Coal on Oct. 14 at the Beijing Research Institute of Coal Chemistry in Beijing, China. The meeting served as an introduction and information exchange for the two coal committees. In addition to staff from ASTM and SAC, participants included representatives from the China National Center for Quality Supervision and Test of Coal; Beijing Research Institute of Coal Chemistry; Changsha Kaiyuan Instruments Co. Ltd., SAI International and SGS Minerals Services.
