ASTM member Anthony F. Bentivegna, Ph.D., CTLGroup, led a cement and concrete testing workshop as part of the 4^th annual Quality Assurance for Sustainable Construction Materials Conference and Workshop, held in Dubai on Dec. 14 and 15. The focus of the conference was on the role of quality building materials in achieving higher standards for sustainability and safety in buildings and infrastructure. The conference was held by the Dubai Municipality and the Dubai Central Labororatory.

The testing workshop led by Bentivegna covered topics covered by ASTM cement and concrete standards, such as fineness, consistency, and chemical properties of cement and slag.
