ASTM International welcomed a delegation of new Chinese members of ASTM Committees D09 on Electrical and Electronic Insulating Materials and F18 on Electrical Protective Equipment for Workers to its West Conshohocken, Pa., headquarters on April 22. ASTM staff managers, Katerina Koperna and Jeffrey Adkins, as well as ASTM's Global Cooperation division, hosted the event, which introduced delegation members to the ASTM consensus process. The visitors included engineers and professors from the Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology and electronics manufacturers on the Standardization Administration of China's National Technical Committee TC323 on Electromagnetic Shielding Material. The delegation also attended the ASTM April committee week in Indianapolis, Ind.
