New Committee F40 Chairman Welcomes ASTM Staffer in the Netherlands
In March, the new chairman of ASTM International Committee F40 on Declarable Substances in Materials, Taco van der Maten (left) of PANalytical, welcomed Jeffrey Grove (right), ASTM vice president of global policy and industry affairs, to the company's headquarters in Almelo, the Netherlands. Committee F40 is developing cutting-edge standards and test methods to assist companies with compliance to chemical and substance-related regulations.
PANalytical produces a broad range of X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence systems and software used for the analysis and materials characterization of a broad range of products. Van der Maten is one of a growing number of technical experts from Europe serving as a chairman or officer of an ASTM technical committee.
