Small and Medium-Sized Businesses Highlighted at Committee Week Panel

Small and medium-sized businesses were in the spotlight during a lunch hour event on April 12, at the ASTM Committee Week in San Antonio, Texas. Moderated by Daniel Smith, vice president of technical committee operations at ASTM, the panel session was part of ASTM's "Year of the Small and Medium Sized Enterprise (SME)." Featured panelists were:

  • Gary Ogden, technical manager, Wells Plastics Ltd., United Kings, and member of Committee D20 on Plastics;
  • Julie Kilgore, President, Wasatch Environmental, an environmental science and engineering services firm (member of Committee E50 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management, and Corrective Action).
  • Dhuanne Dodrill, President, Rollprint Packaging Products, a flexible packaging company (member/chair of F02 on Flexible Barrier Packaging) and,
  • Herb Dwyer, COO and Chief Engineer, Nanmac Corporation, a manufacturer of thermal sensing products (member of E20 on Temperature Measurement).
