ASTM Staffer Meets with Southern Africa Standards Representatives

Members of the Southern African Development Community Cooperation in Standards' (SADCSTAN) Standards Management Committee and staff from the South African Bureau of Standards met with Scott Orthey, ASTM, on Aug. 22 during a visit to South Africa. ASTM signed memorandums of understanding with SABS in 2003 and SADCSTAN in 2008. The meeting included discussions on strengthening the partnership between ASTM International, SADCSTAN and its members in the region.
