Standards Development Explained at PEFTEC 2015
Alyson Fick, ASTM's staff manager for Committee D02 on Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels and Lubricants, joined D02 member Larry Tucker to participate at PEFTEC 2015 in Antwerp, Belgium, on Nov. 18-19, 2015. Tucker, Metrohm USA, is the vice chairman of two D02 subcommittees.
PEFTEC is an international conference and exhibition for analytical chemists, scientists, process operators, laboratory personnel and environmental managers who work in the petroleum, refining, chemical and petrochemical industries. PEFTEC 2015 focused on petroleum, petrochemical, chemical and environmental monitoring technology.
In their presentation, Fick and Tucker presented a panel discussion on the ASTM services and standards development process using case studies focusing on recently developed analytical test methods.
