ASTM staff members James Olshefsky, director, external relations (shown here with students), and Ileane Smith, manager, member promotion and academic outreach, attended the University of Pennsylvania Engineering Career Fair in Philadelphia, Pa., on Sept. 15 as part of the ongoing 2011 Jumpstart Your Career campaign. The fair provided an opportunity for students to interact with local associations and companies. Olshefsky and Smith were able to meet one-on-one with several students interested in developing marketable new skills through exposure to the field of standards.
