During a recent visit to Trinidad and Tobago, ASTM staff worked with the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards to visit the Port of Spain Campus of the University of the West Indies. The visit included a presentation on the benefits of ASTM student members to approximately 50 students enrolled in a materials science class, as well as a tour of the campus's laboratories. Laboratory scripts that provide instruction on running experiments for students in labs were found to contain significant references to ASTM International standards.
