U.S.-Russia Management Training Exchange Program

Teresa Cendrowska, vice president, ASTM global cooperation (fifth from left) and Tony Ceballos, director, U.S. Commercial Service, Philadelphia U.S. Export Assistance Center (third from right), met with Russian delegates in the U.S.-Russia Management Training Exchange Program. This program was created by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Russian Federation's Ministry of Economic Development in 2011 to improve mutual understanding and increase business and trade ties between the two countries. Working with the U.S. EAC, ASTM arranged a meeting so that the delegates from various Russian companies, interested in different facets of energy and energy efficiency, could learn more about ASTM International, aspects of ASTM standards related to energy, and the impact of standards on business and trade.
