Seminar on Copper Piping for Flint, Michigan

ASTM International’s Committee on Copper and Copper Alloys (B05) is sponsoring a seminar titled “Flint – From Water Crisis to Copper Opportunity”, Oct. 11, at the Sheraton New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The seminar will take place in conjunction with the October standards development meetings of the committee.

The seminar, presented by ASTM International board member Andrew Kireta Jr., of the Copper Development Association Inc., will address the decision process officials used in evaluating copper materials in Flint, Mich., the overall issues of lead in drinking water, and the aging of the U.S. water distribution infrastructure.
